Xipo leads High Yield’s “always on” support team for clients and partners. Composed of a diverse staff of analysts, statisticians, and designers, the team can action issues and opportunities in real time. The wide capabilities of Cohen’s team bring data visualization, digital and social expertise, and deep data analytics to bear on the needs of High Yield’s clients, vendors, and partners.
Maggie Cowee
Maggie Cowee is an economist with nearly two decades’ experience in market analysis, consumer preference analysis and business development. Before joining High Yield Insights as a Senior Consultant, Cowee was a Senior Data Analyst for Marijuana Business Daily, where she contributed data and market analysis for the daily news, magazine features and its special publications.
Cowee got her start in the cannabis industry managing a small licensed medical grow in Oregon. After earning a master’s degree in resource economics, Cowee started her market research career as a research economist at the University of Nevada, Reno in State Agricultural Marketing, where her findings aided the state’s farmers and ranchers in making business expansion and diversification decisions.
Alexandra Curley
Alexandra Curley brings her decades of experience in market and consumer insights from both the cannabis industry and fast-moving consumer goods to High Yield. As Senior Consultant, Curley’s expertise in research and strategy shape the development and delivery of High Yield’s solutions. to stakeholders seeking actionable insights on the dynamic cannabis industry.
Alexandra's market research experience was gained in Euromonitor and Mintel, two leading international providers of consumer insights and market data. She has acted as a consultant to numerous clients across varied industries, helping to shape growth plans and outpace competitors.
Mike Luce
Mike Luce has over 20 years of experience developing solutions for executives seeking to understand and action opportunities in the CPG/FMCG market. Luce co-founded High Yield Insights in 2018 to bring his passion for consumer insights and analytics to the cannabis industry.
Mike has previously led engagements with leading consumer brands, including Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and General Mills, and retailers such as Wal-Mart and Kroger. He is frequently sought out for his perspective, appearing in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Marijuana Business Daily among numerous others.
Mike earned his MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree at Loyola University of Chicago.
Steve Rhodes
Steve brings decades of experience as a journalist and independent voice examining political and social issues with his background in senior positions as editor and correspondent for some of that nation’s largest newspaper and magazine publishers. Rhodes act as the senior leader for High Yield’s content and commentary, enabling the company to take an objective, fact-based approach to analyzing developments in the cannabis industry and future trends among current and potential cannabis users. Steve’s experience examining complex issues involving regulatory and political affairs also grants High Yield a unique point of view on consumer trends within a broader context and the unique setting of the cannabis industry.
